Doing It With Flair!!

Life here in Temecula is just PHEEnomenal, and I am still in the midst of getting settled in, and mingling with the natives. Decided it was not enough to adopt Temeculan dress codes (and yes Judi, took your advice, now have two (count em) pairs of shorts to select from), decided to complete the transition and add sun glasses. (the sun does shine bright here in Temecula), and so here's a pic of me in my new optics's----"JOE COOL" (check out the new t-shirt )

  6. LOOKIN GOOD GARY!! You are fitting right in to the desert! I remember when my mom and dad retired to Yuma Arizona. The first time I was taking the kids to see Grandma and Grandpa my mom called and warned me....she said...."tell the kids NOT to laugh at grandpa, he is wearing shorts for the first time in his life and he feels a bit insecure" I had the talk with my kids...but seeing my dad in something besides cowboy boots, jeans and a button up western shirt just about made me fall over laughing. I don't think my dad ever wore a pair of sneakers in his life until he moved there. And I'd NEVER seen his legs! Now it's normal wear for them and I forgot what my dad looks like in jeans. I'm glad you're having such a great time settling in. It must be awesome to live somewhere warm and relaxing.

  9. On the other hand, I can picture you in an ascot and a top hat, looking like David Niven offering me a cigarette.

  10. You look mighty "Californian" there. The sunglasses really complete the overall look.
I love Dana's comment! You certainly could pull off the David Niven look with no trouble. (meaning you're a dapper "old dude"...lol

  11. Great choice of glasses. Just got back from Mexico after a 5 day stay. Beautiful weather down there right now, around 75 degrees and now we are home and it is 100 outside. Can't wait to see those legs of yours!!
